Mission summary – new contacts and prospects for cooperation with Taiwan
RAKL INNOVATE has concluded its participation in the Łódź Region's economic mission to the international TAITRONICS & AIoT Taiwan 2026 trade fair in Taipei.
The mission programme comprised three days at the fair, a study visit to Taiwan Tech Arena and a series of B2B meetings arranged by the Taiwanese industry association TEEMA, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) and the Marshal's Office of the Łódź Region – held, among other places, at the Polish national pavilion. Due to Typhoon Champi, which grounded nearly a thousand flights in Taiwan, we returned one day earlier than scheduled.
The fair's themes – electronic components, embedded systems, IoT, smart mobility and green energy – align closely with RAKL INNOVATE's areas of expertise: battery management systems (BMS), energy management controllers and systems (EMS), power supplies and converters, and IoT devices with GNSS and 4G/5G connectivity. Our objective was to establish cooperation with manufacturers of electronic components, battery cells and modules, electronics manufacturing (EMS) partners and distributors in Asian markets.
The mission has resulted in new business contacts and discussions that we are pursuing in the coming weeks. Combining Taiwan's supply base for components and cells with RAKL INNOVATE's capabilities in design, manufacturing, certification and service for the European Union market provides a solid foundation for long-term cooperation.
We thank the Marshal's Office of the Łódź Region for the professional preparation and organisation of the mission. Special thanks go to Monika Papierak, Katarzyna Stachurska, Honorata Loreth, the mission organiser Sławomir Marchewski, and our interpreters, Mateusz and Sergiusz.
